Effective May 15, 2025, our three key impact-window partners—PGT, ECO, and ES Windows—will implement tariff-driven price adjustments on all impact-window products. These changes stem from the U.S. government’s ongoing Section 232 and Section 301 tariffs, which have increased the cost of imported aluminum, glass, and related components. Here’s everything you need to know:

What’s Changing

  • Effective Date: All new contracts executed on or after May 15, 2025 will reflect the revised pricing.
  • Tariff Impact: Manufacturers are passing through higher material and production costs, resulting in a price increase across most impact window product lines.

Some Existing Quotes Will Be Honored

If you have a signed contract for PGT, ECO, or ES Windows impact products between December 1st and May 15, 2025, your pricing is locked in at the original rate. The new tariffs will not affect orders already under contract by that date—so long as the paperwork is fully executed, you won’t see any change in your quote.

New Quotes and Pricing

For any contracts signed on or after May 15, 2025, we’ll apply the updated prices reflecting the tariff-driven increase. Because each manufacturer’s product mix varies, the exact percentage increase may differ by series, style, and glass option. To get a clear picture of how your specific project will be affected, we recommend requesting an updated quote now.

Price Increases by Manufacturer

  • ES Windows: Announcing a modest increase of up to 6% across its impact-window portfolio, citing rising operational costs in addition to tariff pressures.
  • ECO Windows: Although exact percentages vary by series, ECO Windows has confirmed an across-the-board tariff adjustment, especially on premium designs and French-door configurations.
  • PGT Windows: As one of the largest U.S. manufacturers, PGT will adjust pricing to reflect higher raw-material costs; increases will be applied consistently across fixed, slider, and casement styles.

Our Commitment to You

We’re committed to making hurricane protection both clear and cost-effective. Even where suppliers have raised their list prices, we will:

Provide Transparency: Your salesperson can walk you through the detailed cost breakdown—so you know exactly how tariffs factor into your pricing.

Honor Your Existing Quote: If your contract is signed before May 15, we’ll absorb any higher costs ourselves.

Maintain Competitive Value: For new orders, we’ll continue to leverage our volume relationships to keep price increases as moderate as possible.

Next Steps

  1. Review Your Timeline: If you’re nearing contract execution, consider signing by May 14, to lock in today’s rates.
  2. Request an Updated Quote: For projects starting later in the season, reach out for a tariff-inclusive estimate.
  3. Ask Questions: Whether it’s clarifying a line-item increase or exploring alternative product lines, your dedicated salesperson is standing by.
